DNC Series Piston Rod Cylinders
Pneumatic cylinders are used in numerous applications in automation technology/factory automation. Typical application areas for pneumatic drives are clamping, lifting, countersinking, pushing, pulling, feeding, turning, gripping, clamping and holding, joining, stopping, stamping, embossing and many others.
Festo piston rod cylinders are pneumatic drives for executing linear movements. They are available as round cylinders, profile cylinders, compact cylinders, short-stroke cylinders, flat cylinders, miniature cylinders, screw-in or stainless-steel cylinders; and, depending on the piston diameter, they can provide thrust forces of up to 50 kN at 6 bar. Selected types in accordance with the ATEX directive are also suitable for explosive atmospheres or are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and therefore particularly easy to clean.

Installation and application
1. When load changes in the work, the cylinder with abundant output capacity shall be selected.
2. Relative cylinder with high temperature resistance or corrosion resistance shall be chosen under the condition of high temperature or corrosion.
3. Necessary protection measure shall be taken in the environment with higher humidity, much dust or water drops, oil dust and welding dregs.
4. Dirty substances in the pipe must be eliminated before cylinder is connected with pipeline to prevent the entrance of particles into the cylinder.
5.The medium used by cylinder shall be filtered to 40 u m or below.
6. Anti-freezing measure shall be adopted under low temperature environment to prevent moisture freezing.
7. The cylinder shall be carried out test run without load before application. Prior to run, buffer shall be turned to minimum and gradually released to avoid the damage on cylinder caused by excessive impact.
8. The cylinder shall avoid the influence of side load in operation to maintain the normal work of cylinder and extend the service life.
9.If the cylinder is dismantled and stored for a long time, please conduct anti-rust treatment to the surface. Anti-dust caps shall be added in air inlet and outlet ports.

Q1. Can I directly replace your cylinders with SMC/Festo/Parker cylinders?
A1. We have the exact same models as SMC FESTO Parker, conforming to international standards (ISO6431, ISO15552, ISO6432), which can completely replace original SMC/Festo/Parker models.
Q2. Are your cylinder mounting dimensions the same as the original?
A2. Our mounting holes are exactly the same as the original. We can send you drawings for confirmation, and also confirm your thread specifications (PT/NPT/G/BSPP).

A4. Our seals are made of NBR (general purpose), Viton (high temperature/chemical corrosion resistant), or PU (wear resistant). We can also customize cylinders with special materials to meet your needs.
Q5. What is the cushioning method of the cylinder? Is it adjustable?
A5. Cylinder cushioning methods include rubber cushioning, air cushioning, and the position of the air cushioning adjustment valve, which is crucial for reducing equipment vibration.
Q6. Can I customize a special stroke length? How long is the delivery time?
A6. We can customize any length you want, and the customization time is usually 3-5 days.
Q7. Does the piston rod (PistonRod) have a surface treatment? How is its rust resistance?
A7. Our piston rods are hard chrome plated and made of stainless steel, offering strong wear resistance.
