In the automotive industry, pneumatic technology has a wide range of applications, particularly in processes such as workstation stopping, component gripping, body welding, and painting, where it plays an irreplaceable role.
For example, welding fixtures used in automotive manufacturing processes require extensive use of pneumatic components and operate in environments with welding sparks, slag buildup, and strong magnetic interference. In such cases, we recommend the following solutions to ensure smooth welding operations:
Solutions:
1. In situations with welding sparks, add a metal dust-retaining ring in front of the dust seal on the air cylinder's front cover to protect it.
2.For applications where welding slag may splatter, the rubber components used must meet the UL94 V-0 flame retardant rating.
3.Pipe Fittings: Metal-material connecting pipes (double-layered): The inner layer is made of 9A hardness PU material, and the outer layer is covered with a specially made 1A flame-retardant PVC sleeve. This protects the pipe material and prevents sparks from splattering during welding.
